There's no place like the Madison Beach hotel for weekend getaways or lengthy sojourns. The Hotel dates back to 1800, when it was a boarding house for the shipbuilders during the wonderful whaling days. Continental morning meal is served each morning in our dining place lounge. The rooms are big & airy w/ contemporary furnishings to complement the Victorian architecture. There's a small hotel & it's nestled along a curve of the Connecticut coastline where Long Island Sound is its widest & the view seems to stretch to infinity. During its glorious history, the hotel has undergone a lot of renovations & enhancements, but 1 thing has remained constant: The magnificent location. All rooms offer cable T.V & wireless web service. Each of our 31 rooms & 4 magnificent suites has a direct water view & most offer a balcony overlooking the beach. Ralph Lauren feather pillows & comfortable thermal cotton blankets. The bathrooms contain 100% Country Cotton towels & Rusk bath products. During our most recent enhancement programs, the winter of 2006-2007, we focused on in room features & the special touches to make our visitors comfortable. All beds are fitted w/ soft, high count 100% Egyptian cotton sheets. From there, it's but a few steps to the beach & the day's activities.
