In the afternoon there are pastries at teatime. The Country Inn at Camden-Rockport was conceived & built to provide our visitors w/ the ambiance of yesteryear w/ the features of today. Relaxing toward productivity is supplemented by quality-catered food service as needed. From rooms w/ the comfort & feel of a New England Farmhouse to the availability of WI-FI, the Inn meets our visitors' needs. All provide comfortable, homey surroundings, & are equipped w/ service bars, refrigerators, & pull out couches for the extra visitor or child. Situated on five acres of landscaped property, the Inn is just 1 mile south of downtown Camden which surrounds 1 of the most gorgeous harbors on the coast & five miles north of Rockland which has developed into an active arts & ocean related community. Rooms are set up w/ a choice of two-queen size or single king size bed, some feature whirlpool tubs or fireplaces. Our employees is there to assist w/ any problem or concern, & can help w/ each aspect of our visitors visit from where to get dinner, to planning a day trip or where to see a puffin. There is plenty of space to stroll, offer a pick up ball game, or just relax & appreciate the day The Inn property includes 36 suites in the main building & 11 more in freestanding seasonal cottages. Each morning guests are treated to our Country Morning Meal Buffet, which includes fresh baked breads, fruits, & quiche. Activities at the Inn range from a chess or Scrabble game in the library to a workout in the exercise room. The combination of comfort & facility has made the Inn a favorite of small groups for retreats, & businessmen for extended stays. There is a big indoor swimming pool as well as a hot tub & sauna. The Country Inn provides the ideal setting to appreciate the mid-coast whatever the reason for the visit. Evening brings the Inns chocolate chip cookies top off the day Groups are welcomed.
