Nantucket is one of the worlds most captivating destinations. It is an example of everything that is wonderful about New England- full of historic and cultural attractions. In Nantucket Town guests can walk the cobblestone streets and step back in time. There are over 800 historic buildings each at least 100 years old and some date back to the late 1600s. The Whaling Museum is just one of more than a dozen preserving Nantuckets past. An array of upscale boutiques- antique shops- art galleries- pubs and fine restaurants line the streets. During the summer season- visitors can attend auctions- gallery openings- local theatre- craft fairs and concerts.Much of Nantuckets charm lies in the fact that it is an island with miles of beaches and bike paths.
