Three larger hotel rooms are, situated in the Forget-Me-Not building, are slightly larger than the standard hotel room & include screen-in porch & 2 king beds. Bring the whole group in the night before & your golfers will be ready to tee off first thing in the morning. Working from a well-planned design that required very little earth moving, Hearn created 18 gorgeous holes that challenge the best golfers, yet still leave plenty of room for errant shots. Every aspect of Yarrow contributes to the characteristics of a course that is an enjoyable experience for golfers of all abilities. Hearn?s design respects all the natural beauty of the area, sending the track through groves of Scotch pine, hardwoods, native bushes & grasses, a private lake, numerous marshy locations & the meandering Augusta Creek. We offer 42 standard hotel rooms situated in the Larkspur & Chicory buildings, separate from our main Lodge. ?The way Ray Hearn designed Yarrow & the way Doug O?Rourke built it, the course is as near to a natural piece of property as you can get,? says Tom Barnhart, Yarrow's Head Certified PGA Professional. Each room has 2 beds, a java maker, robes, cable Television & other features. Yarrow has a links-style feel, w/ wide fairways & big, distinctively rolling greens guarded by strategically situated sand bunkers & high fescue. When Raymond Hearn set out to design Yarrow in 2002, he was determined to carefully preserve the natural surroundings, which through the years offer made the area such an appealing place to visit. ?They had to move very little dirt, so it is very well tied into the natural topography.? At Yarrow, you?ll experience dramatic views from the tee boxes, extremely generous landing locations, enormous green complexes, subtle changes of elevation & only 2 forced carries over hazards on the entire course.
