The main Lodge, rebuilt in 1911 by the Sacramento-Alamogordo Railroad, features 47 non smoking rooms each individually decorated w/ a Victorian flair. The Lodge Resort & Spa established in 1899 is a Triple AAA, Three-Diamond resort, nestled in the Sacramento Mountains of Southern New Mexico, surrounded by the mountain pines & aspens of the Lincoln National Forest. For the height of historic elegance, there are the Honeymoon & Governor's Suites. The Retreat is a perfect enviroment for small company meetings or family get-togethers. The Lodge Retreat, built adjacent to The Lodge, houses four non smoking luxury suites, each offering a fireplace, jetted garden-size tub, private deck & wet bar All suites share a common area w/ conference table, kitchen facilities, billiards & ping-pong tables. The resort in addition provides exercise facilities, swimming pool, sauna room & outside whirlpool. Rooms & suites echo the style of a long forgotten era There is a room type to fit each need-cozy standard rooms, comfortable deluxe rooms for couples & families, to Junior Parlor suites. All rooms come w/ private baths, on three floors. The hotel features a cool, enchanted, relaxing retreat w/ a premier golf course/shop, elegant eating at Rebecca's Restaurant-named for our resident Ghost, spa services at The Spirit of the Mountain Spa, & boutique shopping at The Mercantile & Seasons. Packages offering lodging & other resort features are available. The close historic Pavilion Bed & Morning Meal Inn, yet another Lodge Resort property, features eight rustic rooms w/ a cabin-like feeling. Each room in this 100 year-old building comes w/ a private bath & traditional morning meal for 2, while some rooms feature a stone-laid fireplace. The building is ideal for housing a family reunion, wedding party or company function.

All full Standard Double rooms are cozy, harkening back to the Victorian era. Each room is unique. Rooms are located on the first and second floors. Rooms are priced to encourage government and military guests.

All Queen Standard rooms are richly decorated with victorian style elegance. Priced affordably for the business and government traveler. Rooms are located on the first or second floor.
Superior 2 Queens:
These rooms offering two queen size beds are richly appointed in a romantic, antique Victorian style-with no two rooms alike. All rooms have TV and data ports, and come with private bath, some full bath and some with shower only. These rooms are located on the first and second floors of the hotel.
Superior King:
These rooms offer a king size bed and are richly appointed in a romantic, antique Victorian style-with no two rooms alike. All rooms have TV and data ports, and come with private bath, some have full bath and some with shower only. An additional trundle bed is available in some rooms. These rooms are located on all three floors of the hotel and some have marvelous dormer ceilings, for an added touch of a bygone era.
