Rumbling Bald Resort is in addition an ideal setting for retreats & weddings. Check-in time is 4 pm Note this is not a guaranteed time, due to potential for housekeeping or maintenance delays, but except in unusual circumstance, the unit is ready by the 4pm check-in time. Lake Lure is nestled in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains, surrounded by rugged mountains towering over the lake a lot of claim to be 1 of the most scenic in the country. The Resort features a unique combination of lakefront activities plus mountain vistas & year round golf. Guests must be 21 years of age or older at the time of check-in Guests may check-in at the 24hour security gate at the resort entrance next to the front desk. An arrival package w/ keys, resort guide, maps etc will be waiting any time the front desk is closed. Rumbling Bald Resort is a Three,660 acre mountain golf community stretching from the shores of scenic Lake Lure to the slopes of majestic Bald Mountain. There is a resort fee of 10.00USD for a day Check-in at the front desk. Nearby Chimney Rock has shops & a rocky overlook w/ views for miles.
