This historic landmark originally opened its doors in 1918 to provide comfort to those traveling to Thermopolis to partake of the soothing, therapeutic mineral waters of the park, today we continue to comfort those who come. *Pool & hot tub are closed for maintenance until June 15, 2009* Come, relax & appreciate the Best Western Plaza Hotel situated in Hot Springs State Park, Thermopolis, Wyoming. Guests still appreciate the mineral water which is piped directly from its source to an outside spa on the premises. When not swimming or soaking, appreciate white water rafting, digging for bones at the largest dinosaur dig in the United States, fishing, hunting, or simply relaxing. The second floor suites even offer wood-burning fireplaces. The property in addition has a heated, fresh-water swimming pool which is open during the summer months. In addition, there are two commercial water parks inside easy walking distance of the hotel which offer a lot of places of interest for families w/ children. The employees takes pride in the services we provide & the responses received from satisfied visitors justify that pride. In 1999, the hotel's historic past was recaptured when it was renovated & reopened, hand-crafted lodge pole pine furniture graces the entire hotel, which consists of 18 standard rooms & 18 2-room suites. Many visitors return simply to appreciate the hospitality & charm of the Best Western Plaza Hotel.
